A Shropshire marketing firm is celebrating a record year in business as it plans for further growth in 2015. Shifnal based Ascendancy is recording a 25 per cent increase in turnover for 2014.
Profits are also up 25 per cent compared to 2013 making it the most successful year for the company, which specialises in web design and development and digital marketing.
Heading into its 12th successful year, the company now employs seven members of staff and continues to grow. The latest new graduate recruit joined the company in November as a Digital Marketing Executive and plans are in place for further recruitment to take place this year.
Director Helen Culshaw said: “Due to growing demand for all our services we are celebrating the company’s best ever year which is just fantastic.
“2014 was a big milestone in the company’s history as it marked its 10th anniversary, so it is even more special to have achieved record turnover and profit.
“Heading into 2015 we are expecting further growth as more and more businesses turn their attention to online marketing and we will be looking to expand the team again later this year to keep up with demand.
“We have already started work on some exciting projects and are planning for another successful year.”
Throughout 2014 Ascendancy, which has seen growth in all areas of the business including website design, search engine optimisation and Google AdWords management, has worked with a range of companies from Shropshire, as well as national and international clients.
